Maria Mraz

Born in Nor Cal and raised in So Cal, Maria made her way back to the Bay Area after attending high school in Japan and graduating from UC Santa Barbara. Then, in the SFSU Graphic Communications graduate program, she took a deep dive into printing and printmaking, learning intaglio, relief, letterpress and lithography techniques.

Printmaking led to the more practical world of graphic design, where Maria has gained deep experience as a hybrid account /​producer/project /​production manager at a handful of top-notch boutique design and communications agencies in San Francisco.

Her logistics savvy and the ability to see both the big and small picture as well as short and long term goals have been the keys to successful project planning and execution, from giant global initiatives to one-off artworks.

When she has free time, Maria can be found prowling farmer’s markets, reading cookbooks, or planning travel. Her latest passions are piping buttercream succulents and planning ancestry travel, with the Iberian Peninsula next on her list.
